Odds are shown in three formats
mvw Bet displays odds in decimal, fractional and American formats. The same price can be written three ways — see the example below:

Example: Team A wins, stake ৳200, decimal odds 3.00 — return ৳600 (৳400 profit + ৳200 stake). If Team A loses, you lose ৳200. If the favourite Team B has odds of 1.25, a ৳200 stake returns only ৳250 (৳50 profit).
Bet Slip — Single and Multi Bets
Clicking on a market adds it to your bet slip. Enter your stake amount and the potential return is shown instantly.
Single Bet: One selection only. Say Team A has odds of 1.65 and Team B 2.30 in a T20 match. A ৳500 bet on Team B returns ৳1,150 if Team B wins (৳650 profit); if Team A wins, you lose ৳500.
Multi Bet (Accumulator): Combining multiple selections multiplies the odds and can make them much larger, but every selection must win. If even one loses, the entire stake is lost.
Three selections with odds of 1.50, 1.60 and 1.80 — multiplied together that is approximately 4.32. A ৳100 stake returns ৳432 if all three win; if any one loses, the full ৳100 is lost.

Betting Exchange — what are Back and Lay?
In standard betting you bet against the site. In a betting exchange you bet against other players — there are two roles: back and lay.
Back: ৳1,000 stake on Team A at decimal odds of 2.00. If Team A wins, you make ৳1,000 profit (before commission); if they do not win, you lose ৳1,000.
Lay: Lay Team A against a backer's ৳1,000 stake — your liability is ৳1,000 (৳1,000 × 1.00). If Team A does not win, you receive ৳1,000 (before commission); if Team A wins, you pay out ৳1,000.
Teams are always referred to as "Team A" or "Team B" — these are examples only, not real odds or any guarantee of winning.
Open and Settled Bet History
Every bet you place at mvw creates a record. The "Bet History" section of your account has two parts:
Open Bets
Bets whose results have not yet come in — the match is ongoing or has not started — appear here.
Settled Bets
Once a result is in, the bet is settled — if you won, the return is added to your balance; if you lost, the entry remains as a record only.

Set a budget before you start betting
